ECLIPSES
Solar eclipses occur at certain times of the year. As the Moon enters between the Sun and the Earth, the Sun's rays cannot reach a place where daytime is experienced on Earth, and this region of the Earth remains under the shadow of the Moon for a short time. This event is called a solar eclipse.
During the lunar eclipse, The Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon. And the Earth blocks the sun's rays from reaching the Moon.
We cannot see the moon because the moon does not have its own light source and cannot reflect sunlight. During the lunar eclipse, the Moon is in the full moon phase.
